Our mission is to help support extended learning
opportunities for the students and community within the Nazareth
Area
School District. Our trustees have developed an allocation fund budget that
identifies an annual amount of unrestricted funds available for grants
in that year and the procedures to apply for those unrestricted funds.
The same application form and process applies for
restricted funds.
Restricted or Specified funds are contributions
given to the Foundation that have been earmarked for a specific end use
(i.e. athletics, arts, or interest from principal amount given to be
used for scholarships). In other words the foundation can only use
the funds for the purpose specified by donor. Unrestricted or
unspecified funds given to the Foundation can be allocated at the
discretion of the Foundation’s trustees. |
